Fun with cake decorating!

I was recently asked by a friend if I would make a birthday cake for her little man's first birthday. I kinda freaked! I haven't decorated a whole cake since baking school but I decided why not jump back into it. My friend was very kind and said " she didn't mind being my Guinea pig:) and she didn't care what I put on the cake. 

So my mind went crazy with a bunch of different designs and we settled on a jungle themed cake. I had planned on placing the cookies on the side of the cake but they were a hair to tall so I just packaged them up in little treat bags. I am so glad she asked me to be a part of her boy's special first birthday! Happy birthday Christian.

Hello everyone and welcome to my little corner of the web. I will admit right now that I am not a " Blogger". But one thing I do know is I love baking. A few months back I came across a blog and was blown away by the cookies this woman had done. I went to school for Baking Pastries and Confections and while in school I loved the cake decorating section of class. So when I saw all the beautifully decorated cookies I was instantly inspired. 

I am really enjoying creating new designs and would love to spread the joy. If you have an event coming up or would just like to order some cookies " just because". I know I don't need a reason to eat cookies. I would love to make them for you! I will be adding new creations on a regular basis. If you have an idea of something you would like made or you see something here you like just let me know.
